Did an update on my surgery and im ready to jump back into cosplay again in the next few months, now I just need to decide what to wear!

Wow I didn't realize how long it has been. So much has changed and im only about six months away from being ready to re-join the cosplay community. Currently I'm doing a certificate IV in engineering, preparing for the life of a tradie while I wait for my police tests and training to be over, and I'm booked in for surgery in december. All my dreams are coming true and everything's going great. That being said my ability to adapt to change is diminishing very quickly. It's hard but I'm doing the best I can. So all in all it's been a crazy but good year and I can't wait to start seeing everyone at conventions again.

You know, it's amazing how sometimes, you can lose someone you love through your own stupid actions and words, and not feel anything from it, but once you're better and your mental health is all fixed, you start to miss, not the person, but what you and that person once shared. I find myself looking back occasionally on some of my fondest memories, and remember how happy I used to be. Although I have come further as a person than I think I would have had I remained with that person, and I've dated since, I still find myself missing the companionship I used to hold. I'm not saying I want them back, no way, it ended for a reason, but I am fond
